Purlins
Purlins, girts & eve struts are secondary structural members i.e. horizontal beams that are used for structural support for wall and roof panels in the buildings. These purlins are major components of roof structures. Roof purlins are supported either by rafters or building walls and the roof deck is laid over the purlins.
Z purlins are roof framing members that span parallel to the building eave and support the roof decking or sheeting.
